Gur ends steady in restricted activity

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market ended flat in the national capital today following scattered buying support.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also remained around overnight levels in thin trade.
Marketmen said activity remained restricted following small buying support against negligible arrivals from manufacturing areas.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,800-2,900, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,300-2,350, chakku Rs 2,300-2,650, khurpa Rs 2,350-2,400 and Ladoo Rs 2,500-2,650.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,450-2,500 and dhayya Rs 2,500-2,550.
