Gur ends steady in thin trading

Steady conditions previaled on the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market today with prices after moving in a tight range on some support, settled at previous closing.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also ended steady in thin trade.
Marketmen said arrivals and offtake almost remained at par, so prices have not showed any huge fluctuations.
The following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 2,800-2,900, pedi 2,850-2,950, dhayya 2,900- 3,000 and shakkar 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,500-2,550, chakku 2,675-2,850, khurpa 2,450-2,500 and Ladoo 2,500-2,600.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,500-2,550 and dhayya 2,500-2,550.
