Muradnagar gur markets also showed a rise in prices by up to Rs 100 per quintal in gur pedi and dhayya on negligible arrivals against increased stockists demand.
Marketmen said steep fall in supply from manufacturing areas due to rise in mercury along with speculative buying by stockists pushed up gur pedi and dhayya prices in Muradnagar and Delhi.
In Delhi, gur Pedi prices climbed up by Rs 100 to winding up at Rs 3,400-3,500 per quintal.
Following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,300-3,400, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya 3,500-3,600 and shakkar 3,500-3,600.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,800-2,900, chakku 2,850-3,100, khurpa 2,650-2,750 and Ladoo 2,900-3,000.
