Gur prices close steady on small demand

Dull conditions persisted at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today as prices hovered around overnight levels on limited deals.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also ended flat in thin trade.
Marketmen said adequate stocks position against demand,mainly hold gur prices on last levels.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,100-3,200, pedi Rs 3,200-3,300, dhayya Rs 3,300-3,400 and shakkar Rs 3,400-3,500.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,500-2,550, chakku Rs 2,750-2,950, khurpa Rs 2,700-2,750 and Ladoo Rs 2,950-3,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,850-2,950 and dhayya Rs 2,900-2,950.
