Gur prices gain in Delhi, Muradnagar
Gur chakku prices bounced by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital Saturday on tight stocks position amid thin supplies.
Muradnagar gur market also showed a firm trend in gur Pedi prices on better offtake.
Marketmen said tight supplies and better demand pushed up gur chakku in Delhi and gur Pedi in Muradnagar.
In Delhi, gur Chakku prices advanced by Rs 100 to Rs 3,600-3,700 per quintal.
In Muradnagar gur Pedi prices enquired higher at Rs 3,600-3,700 per quintal.
Elsewhere, rest all other gur varieties ruled steady on some support.
