Gur prices settle flat on little doing
Press Trust of India New Delhi The wholesale gur (jaggery) market settled at their previous levels in the national capital today following small buying support amid negligible arrivals.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a steady trend.
Marketmen said small demand and restricted arrivals from manufacturing belts, mainly kept the prices unaltered.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,700-2,800, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 2,900-3,000.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,350-2,400, chakku Rs 2,450-2,575, khurpa Rs 2,350-2,400 and Ladoo Rs 2,450-2,550.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,350-2,400 and dhayya Rs 2,450-2,500.
