Gur remains flat in restricted activity

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market closed on a steady note in the national capital today due to absence of necessary activity amid adequate stocks position.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a steady trend.
Marketmen said besides adequate stocks position, absence of necessary buying support, mainly kept prices at previous levels.
Following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,300-3,400, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya N.A. And shakkar 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 3,000-3,025, chakku 2,850-3,000, khurpa N.A. And Ladoo N.A.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3,100-3,150 and dhayya N.A.
