Muzaffarnagar gur markets depicted a weak trend with gur chakku prices falling by up to Rs 100 per quintal while gur pedi in Muradnagar rose by Rs 100 per quintal on better offtake.
Marketmen said gur chakku declined in Muzaffarnagar due to fading demand.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur chakku prices dropped by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 2,550-2,800 per quintal.
At Muradnagar, gur pedi prices were trading higher by Rs 100 to end at Rs 2,700-2,750 per quintal.
Gur chakku Rs 3,100-3,200, pedi Rs 3,100-3,200, dhayya Rs 3,300-3,400 and shakkar Rs 3,500-3,600.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,475-2,550, chakku Rs 2,550-2,800, khurpa Rs 2,550-2,600 and Ladoo Rs 2,800-2,850.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,700-2,750 and dhayya Rs 2,800-2,850.
