A number of sophisticated weapons and war fighting equipment will be displayed for the general population, especially the youth at the exhibition, a defence spokesman said today.
Many senior military officials and civil dignitaries are likely to attend the programme, he said.
Zonal Recruitment Office, Jalandhar will establish a 'Recruitment Information Kiosk' during the event to encourage the youth to join the forces.
A 'Sahayata Kendra' for the Veer Naris (army widows) and the veterans will also be set up during the exhibition where all possible assistance will be extended for redressal of their grievances, the spokesman said.
