Gurgaon will get a multi-specialty hospital under Public-Private Partnership mode at sector 67, a Haryana government release said today.
For this, in-principle approval was given in the second meeting of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in Gurgaon today.
The process had been started for establishing Sheetla Mata Medical College, Khattar said according to the release.
In the meeting today, discussion was held on metro extension from Dwarka Sector-21 to Gurgaon railway station and old town, the release said here. For extension of Metro, the chief minister said a special session would be called for holding discussions.
The chief minister said that under the Smart City initiative, CCTV cameras would be installed in Gurgaon for which a survey had already been conducted and a detailed project report would be prepared by the end of this month.
He said under the Smart City Project, optical fibre would also be laid in the city. It has also been decided to construct a multi-level parking at old veterinary hospital by Municipal Corporation and at old jail by GMDA.
Khattar said that it was decided that a six-lane road would be constructed from Umang Bhardwaj Chowk to Dwarka Expressway at a cost of Rs 11 crore. The tender for this project would be floated on April 30.
The tenders for City Bus Project would also be floated on April 30. The construction work of 328 bus queue shelters had been started, he added.
