Stressing on installing more 'I-click kiosk', he asked the IGP and Home Secretary to take up the matter with banks and install them near ATMs in the city to enable citizens to file their complaint online.
Effective steps should be taken to provide better care to senior citizens, he said, asking the IGP to also develop a software to make lodging of FIRs more simple and transparent.
Appreciating the 'Raksha' app, recently launched for protection of women, the Governor said, need of the hour is to generate more awareness about this app, so that women in distress can get police aid within five minutes.
He also spoke about special traffic and crime checking drives being conducted on a regular basis.
