The 26-year-old songwriter revealed her album "Digial Distortion", originally set for a 2016 release, was pushed back as she came to know that her fiance's was cheating on her, reported People magazine.
"I needed a lot of time. I mean, you wake up one morning and your fiance is having a baby with someone else, you're going to need some time, right?
Azalea and Young, 31, called it quits in June, just months after the basketball player was involved in an alleged cheating scandal.
Azalea said she was ready to release her forthcoming album "Digital Distortion" in July, but said, "It's no secret, I kind of had my personal life fall apart.
