Hadibandhu Mirdha passes away

Prominent tribal academic and former chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) Hadibandhu Mirdha passed away here today at his residence, family sources said.
He was 74 and survived by wife, two sons and five daughters.
Mirdha, who was the chairman of the OPSC from 1999 to 2002, was suffering from old age diseases. Born at Barpali area of Bargarh district, Mirdha had his education in Odisha and wrote several books.
Mirdha's last rites is scheduled to be held here tomorrow.
