Mother of daughter Nahla, seven and 20-month-old Maceo, the "Extant" actress agreed that it is "not easy" juggling her personal and professional lives so she does not always get as much rest as she would like, reported HELLO! magazine.
"It is not easy I can tell you. I just fore go sleep most days. It is exciting though.
"Being a mother of two kids, I wanted to find work where I do not have to travel so much any more", she said.
The 48-year-old actress began work on "Extant" shortly after Maceo was born and she admits she was unprepared for how busy she would be shooting a TV series rather than a movie.
"(Parenthood) has made me more complete as a person, no question about it.
"You are responsible not just for you, but for the well-being of your children. It is a huge undertaking, but it is the most rewarding thing I have ever done," she said.
