Comedian Hannibal Buress was arrested for disorderly intoxification.
The 34-year-old comic was taken into custody on December 9 in Miami, the police department confirmed on Twitter.
The tweet came in a response to Billy Corden when the documentary director enquired about Buress' arrest after a video showing him talking to cops went viral on social media.
"Hello Billy, Mr. Buress was arrested for disorderly intoxication, on December 9, 2017, at approximately 10:30 pm," Miami PD tweeted from their verified account.
In the clip, the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" actor can be seen repeatedly asking the officers before he is directed to sit in the police car, "What am I detained for?"
"I'm not doing anything, I'm not getting in the car. You don't have probable cause for anything and you look hella stupid right now."
As per Miami Herald, police records show Buress was booked into a Miami-Dade jail by 2 am on Sunday and made bail by 6 am.
According to the newspaper, the incident took place when the comedian asked a police officer nearby to call him an Uber. When the officer declined, Buress went into a venue with the officer in tow, feeling he was too intoxicated to remain.
"Once outside, the defendant (Buress) stood by the front gate and continued yelling profanities. I, then again, asked him to leave the area about five times. A crowd began to gather and vehicular traffic slowed as they watched the defendant yelling and being disorderly. Defendant arrested," the police report read.
