The Haryana government has doubled the rate of the Dearness Allowance (DA) on revised basic and family pensions from two to four per cent.
This would put an additional monthly financial burden of about Rs 10.99 crore on the state, Finance Minister Abhimanyu said in an official release here today.
He said there would be an additional liability of Rs 153.91 crore for 14 months, that is, from January 2017 to February 2018.
