Har Govt to set up 'Allottees Grievances Redressal Forum'

The Haryana Government today announced its decision to set up 'Allottees Grievances Redressal Forum' in all districts to allow quick addressed of complaints by property owners against colonisers.
The decision to constitute the forum has been taken as a number of complaints were being received from the allottees of flats or plots on 'CM Grievances Window' against builders on the problems being faced by them, an official spokesperson said.
The Forum will be constituted under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district with 13 other members including the SP, Administrator of Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA), Commissioner of Municipal Corporation or Executive Officer or Secretary of Municipal Council or Committee.
"These issues include delay in possession of plots or flats, breach of terms and conditions of agreement between a builder and allottee due to change in super area of flat, charging more money due to change in super area, overcharging for external or internal development, change in number and size of plots or flats and specifications of building materials," the spokespersons said.
Besides, other issues including -- demand of exorbitant maintenance charges, club charges, sale of parking area and common area, parking allotment letter along with marking in map not provided, RO/filtration plant not been made functional, non-provision of adequate basic facilities -- will also be addressed.
