Hardoi DM dies of heart attack

District Magistrate of Hardoi Anand Kumar Dwivedi today died of cardiac arrest here, official sources said.
He was 57.
Dwivedi, an IAS officer of 2002 batch, had returned home in the afternoon, and was taking rest before lunch in his room where he was found dead after sometime by his servants, they said.
Chief Medical Officer V K Gupta who rushed his residence after getting the information pronounced him dead, the sources said.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has expressed profound grief over the death of Dwivedi.
In an official statement, Yadav described Dwivedi as a capable and dedicated administrator and prayed for peace for the departed soul.
