Haryana Assembly to hold special session

Haryana Government today said it will hold a special session of the state assembly next month as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of formation of the state.
The Haryana Cabinet presided over by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar decided to hold a special 'Swaran Jayanti Session' of the state assembly here on November 4, an official spokesman said.
Another special meeting of former MPs and former MLAs of Haryana would also be held at Panchkula on November 3, the spokesman said.
Haryana was formed on November 1, 1966 after the area was carved out of Punjab.
