Additional Chief Secretary (Health), Ram Niwas said that various irregularities were detected in the examination for Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery and General Nursing and Midwifery courses, conducted in November last year, in which about 8,000 nursing students had appeared.
"The examination to the ANM and GNM courses, has now been cancelled. It was found that the examination was not conducted by a proper authority, besides other irregularities. The result of the students who took the exam had been withheld. Now, the examination will be held again," he said.
"Due to these unauthorized institutes, the examinations of ANM and GNM courses conducted by them have been cancelled and now these would be held by the Pt BDS University of Health Sciences, Rohtak," an official release quoting Vij said here.
