Haryana Transport Minister Krishan Lal Panwar told a press conference here today said that the decision to this effect has been taken in view of the blockade of roads all around Rohtak due to the ongoing agitation over reservation.
Following the cancellation of the function in Rohtak, he said Chief Minister Manohar Lal would attend the Saint Guru Ravidas Jayanti Samaroh in Barara area of Mullana Assembly Constituency.
People from districts of Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Ambala and Panchkula and representatives of social institutions would participate in this function, Panwar said.
The Minister said the state government is committed to maintain law and order as well as harmony.
