Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today announced a relief of Rs 5 crore for the victims of the Nepal earthquake.
The chief minister announced to give financial assistance for relief and rehabilitation of earthquake ravaged Nepal through the Centre, an official spokesperson said.
He asked the people to lend a helping hand to the victims in whatever way they can in this hour of crisis.
Khattar, who was celebrating his 61st birthday today, chose to keep it a low-key affair in view of the tragedy in Nepal.
