Haryana CM promises Infra development on KMP Expressway

Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar today said infrastructural development will be carried out up to one km on both sides of Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway being constructed in the state so as to create different kinds of activities concerning industrial development.
This will not only attract investment but would also ensure generation of maximum employment opportunities in the state.
The chief minister said this while speaking at a workshop on National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme at auditorium of Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation here today.
He also said that while KMP falls up to 180 km in Haryana state so the state government would develop 360 square kilometres area on both sides of this route in the state.
Khattar said Haryana is achieving new heights of growth. The state is poised to become number one with the score of 99.19 per cent in the current index of Ease of Doing Business. This index is still under evaluation and till now Haryana is number one position in the country.
Haryana was at 14th place in Ease of Doing Business ranking in year 2014, and the state jumped to 6th position in 2016 and now it has reached at first place in 2018.
The chief minister noted that state government has established single window system for giving licenses and clearances to encourage setting of industries in the state. Under this, clearances are to be given within 45 days, if the clearance is not received in 45 days, then these are considered as deemed clearance. Recently, 1,600 clearances were given within a week which in itself is a record.
He also said that development works were being carried in Gurgaon and Faridabad. The government is making all efforts to provide every kind of facility in these cities.
