Haryana cops arrest 4 contract killers in UP

Haryana police today arrested four contract killers accused in the attempted murder of a woman in Karnal form Deoband police station area in this district of Uttar Pradesh.
A joint team of Haryana police and officials of Deoband police station conducted a raid and arrested Sandeep, Anurag, Joini and Irshad, Senior Superintendent of Police (Rural) Jagdish Sharma said.
The contract killers were hired by the father-in-law of the victim Rani, a resident of Karnal in Haryana, over some property dispute, he said.
Rani was shot at by the killers but she survived and lodged a complaint with Haryana police following which six persons were booked under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC and Arms Act, Sharma said.

While four persons have been arrested, two more wanted in the case were still absconding and search is on to nab them, he said.
