Haryana Police today issued an advisory for maintaining law and order in Gurgaon on the occasion of Valentine's Day tomorrow.
Many traffic police check points would be set up across the city to check violations, especially cases of drunken driving, an official spokesman said.
In case of any serious violation of law, the offender would be arrested and sent behind bars, he said.
The spokesman said that anybody can inform about any crime incident, mobs gathering or rioting or anything suspicious to the police control room by dialling 100.
If any help is needed, women can call at 100 or 1091. For hiring a cab or taxi alone, they should first click a photo of the cab or taxi driver along with the cab registration number with their cell phone, he said.
Liquor should not be served in restaurants or bars after permitted hours. Minors should not be served alcoholic drinks as per the excise law and legal action will be taken in case any such incident is noticed, he said.
Special Joint Teams of Revenue Excise and Police Officials, equipped with videographers, have been formed to check all such violations and take the strictest possible action.
He said that trained security personnel from licensed private security agencies should be hired in place of bouncers.
For the management of malls and cyber-hub, proper security and frisking of people as well as vehicles entering into the malls should be ensured, the spokesman said
Apart from ensuring frisking before entrance, good resolution CCTV cameras should be installed both inside and outside the premises, he said.
