Haryana discom consumers can now pay bills online, NEFT, RTGS

The consumers of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam can now pay their electricity bills online through RTGS, NEFT, authorised banks or directly at the discom's website.
Those urban consumers, who are residing in the municipal corporations or municipal council areas, can pay their bills either online at the discom's portal or through Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) or National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) or authorised banks, a company spokesperson said today.
The bill amount of less than Rs 15,000 can be paid by the consumers directly on the discom's website to avail a rebate of Rs five.
However, it will be mandatory for the consumers whose bills amount is more than Rs 15,000 to pay online or through RTGS or NEFT or authorised banks, he said, adding that the other consumers would be governed by the existing procedure.
