Haryana FDA seizes intoxicants worth Rs 15 lakh

Medical intoxicants worth Rs 15 lakh was seized during a joint raid by a team of Haryana Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and state police officials from Fatehabad bus stand near here, police said today.
Acting on a tip off, a team of senior drug control officers from Hisar along with the police officials raided a bus near Fatehabad bus stand and recovered the intoxicants kept in the luggage on the roof of the vehicle.
The owner of the luggage was not among the passengers in the bus. However, on further interrogations, it was later revealed that the driver of the bus Rai Singh was involved in the incident.

Singh was later arrested and a case registered against him in this regard.
Further probes are on into the case, police added.
