The Haryana government today decided to amend its regularisation policy to give permanent jobs to those who already have or will complete ten years of service by December 31, 2018.
The Haryana Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here, decided that, as a one-time measure, an employee who has been appointed against a sanctioned post and has or will complete ten years of service by December 31, 2018 shall be considered for regularisation.
An official statement said the one-time relaxation will be allowed even in cases where the original appointment might not have been made through the process of advertisement and interview and subject to satisfactory service record.
The state cabinet also granted employment to dependents of three martyrs of Police and Army belonging to the state.
The appointments will be made in favour of Tejbir Singh, son of late policeman Balwan Singh; Surena Devi, widow of late policeman Rakesh Kumar; and Bharti alias Bhateri, widow of late Army subedar Dharmesh Sangwan who was a member of the Indian Peace Keeping Force.
Singh and Kumar had sacrificed their lives while fighting anti-social elements, while the Army subedar had sacrificed his life in Sudan, the statement said.
The cabinet also approved a proposal to allot land to Yadav Kalyan Sabha, Jangid Brahmin Pradeshik Sabha, Aggarwal Sabha and Punjabi Sabha at Rewari at ten per cent of market rate.
It was decided about 1,000 square yards of land would be also allotted to the Saini Sabha out of the land belonging to the Public Works (Building and Roads) Department at the same rate, the statement said.
