A spokesman of Electronics and Information Technology Department said today that a dedicated team of security specialists is engaged in carrying out Vulnerability Analysis (VA) and Penetration Testing (PT) on a continuous basis for 30 IT assets of the atate.
There is a plan to cover all the IT assets of state within one year, he added.
He said that there is also a plan to set up a Security Operations Center (SOC) for real time monitoring of security events and gathering threat intelligence both from preventive and remedial perspectives.
He said that about 35 electronics services of various departments are planned to be rolled out throughout the State Portal and Service Delivery Gateway (SSDG). Out of these, 15 services have been rolled out and are live.
For better service delivery, these services have been integrated with Rapid Assessment Service System.
He said that new IT Policy would provide several incentives for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services, BPO, Electronics Manufacturing and would also facilitate investment by creating investor friendly environment, providing speedy clearances and developing reliable infrastructure.
He said that a Mobile Application Development Centre including skill training centre is being set up with internet and Mobile Association of India, for which 3,000 square feet area has been identified in Gurugram.
"It will have common facilities such as common video conferencing-cum-meeting room and internet. Apart from this, Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) has a plan to launch Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG). It is a initiative to fast track mobile governance in the country by building common, unified platform or application to have single point access of major government services.
The spokesman also said that there is a target to integrate at least 50 Government-to-Citizen (G2C) Services of the state during the year 2017-18.
He said that the initial version of State Resident Database (SRDB) is operational and has about 1.58 crore citizen records form the Aadhaar repository.
