"It was the government's aim to provide good governance and transparency and put a check on corruption. This work was being done in an efficient manner through IT," Khattar said at a function held at Haryana Raj Bhavan here.
He said the use of IT has made it easier for government to reach every person, and for this purpose, Village Secretariats have been set up in the state, through which villagers can apprise the government and administration about their problems and needs.
The Governor said he believed the Prime Minister's vision of "Digital India" would be fulfilled first by Haryana, as the Chief Minister has a good knowledge of IT and the state was leading in terms of its use for governance.
Solanki expressed belief that soon every person in every village and city in Haryana would get the facility of easy access to the government through IT.
