Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday said the year-long golden jubilee celebrations to mark the creation of the state will start from November 1.

Khattar, at a press conference after chairing an all-party meeting, said all political parties have assured of their cooperation in the celebrations.

Efforts would be made to involve all sections of the society and functions will also be held outside the state where people from Haryana reside, he said, adding those residing abroad would be invited.

Haryana was carved out of Punjab in 1966.
