Haryana sanctions Rs 1.9 cr for upgrading labs in govt colleges

Haryana's education department has sanctioned Rs 1.9 crore for upgrading laboratories in the state's 113 government colleges, an official said today.

The Haryana government has approved a non-recurring expenditure of Rs 1.9 crore for 2018-19 for upgrading and renovating labs in the state-run colleges, a spokesperson said giving the details.

College principals will be able to withdraw this money online through a local treasury he said, adding that the amount will be utilised as per the directions of the director general of higher education.
