The MoU was signed by CEO, NASSCOM, Shrikant Sinha, Chairperson, GVF, Balram Nandwani and Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education, Dheera Khandelwal.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Haryana Industries Minister, Capt Abhimanyu during a workshop on Industrial Reforms in Haryana, here today, official release said.
Haryana Technical Education Department has entered into a MoU with an objective of skilling the youth and students of Haryana for employment ready programme through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds of corporates.
As a part of the MoU, the Government will announce an ITES Summit soon along with NASSCOM Foundation and GVF where corporates will be inspired to commit and take pledge around skilling objectives.
The initiative is in line with Mission Skill India and making Haryana attractive state with job ready resources. Under the MoU, there will be summits and seminars along with interventions to engage corporates and other departments.
As a part of the initiative, colleges and institutes would be identified in various regions of Haryana where youth will be encouraged to enroll in the program through Corporate Sponsorship to take maximum benefit out of this initiative.
"Today, investors from different parts of the country and foreign countries are coming forward to invest in Haryana.The Government has a target to provide maximum job opportunities to youth by providing skill training to them", he added.
