The court also directed the committee constituted by Himachal Pradesh Roads and Other Infrastructure Development Corporation (HPRIDC) to submit a compliance report every two weeks.
It further directed the contractor to do the needful and make all possible efforts to take the contract to its logical end and cautioned that any deviation shall be viewed seriously.
The orders were passed by a Division Bench of Chief Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir and Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan on a public interest litigation on the delay in the project.
