The Kerala High Court today directed Kerala State Road Transport Corporation Managing Director Antony Chacko to appear before it on July 3 in connection with contempt cases against KSRTC.
The direction in this regard was issued by Justice C K Abdul Rahim while considering 16 contempt cases filed by retired KSRC employees complaining of non-payment of pension and other benefits.
The petitioners contended that despite specific directions from the high court to pay retirement benefits due to them, the Corporation had refused to comply with the same.
