A plea seeking permission to hold peaceful protests against Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is here on a three days visit, was today dismissed by the Delhi High Court.
Justice Vibhu Bakhru rejected the petition filed by Rashi Jauhri, who claims to be a sympathiser of the people from Tibet and is also a member of Students for Free Tibet, against Delhi Police's September 16 order declining permission to her and 30-40 others to hold a peaceful protest near Dhaula Kuan flyover here against Xi.
Delhi Police had refused her permission to hold the protests citing security reasons.
The court said it cannot allow them to hold the protest as it can create law and order situation in Delhi.
