Irked over reaching the High Court late due to the traffic snarl, Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh summoned the Commissioner, District Magistrate, Senior Superintendent of Police, City Superintendent of Police and Superintendent of Police (Traffic) to the court.
SP Traffic P K Das said traffic was halted for some time in the area in the morning due to the movement of Chief Minister's carcade. The CM had gone there to garland a statue of social reformer Jagdeo Prasad on his anniversary.
The Court said in future, programmes which could disturb traffic movement should be publicised in newspapers and Registrar General of the HC should be informed in advance.
