The petitioner P Mahaboo Nisha alleged in her petition that some politicians were protecting the accused and the Tdamalaipatti Puthur police and also CB-CID were not investigating the case.
The petitioner submitted that the naked body of her daughter was found at Tiruchi on August 13, 2013 and expressed suspicion that she had been raped before murder, but police have been hushing up the case to protect the culprits.
Justice S Vaidhyanathan, who allowed the petition praying for CBI probe, directed the Superintendent of CB-CID to handover the case to CBI.
