The petitioner M Nathadu Bava submitted that he had leased his building to the court and lease expired on November 22, 2013.
He submitted that when he gave a representation to the Tirunelveli Principal District Judge and the Portfolio Judge of the Madras High Court to vacate the premises as the property had been subjected to partition, the PDJ said that he issued a communication to the District Collector to allot the Old Taluk Office Building in Tenkasi to the Judicial department for accomodating the court.
Justices V Ramasubramanian and N Kirubakaran ordered issue of notice to the Tirunelveli District Collector returnable within three weeks.
