HC sends Kaimur DM to court's custody on contempt charge

The Patna High Court today sent a district magistrate to court custody for contempt.
Justice Rakesh Kumar sent Kaimur District Magistrate Arvind Kumar Singh to custody till the rising of the court for not complying with a 2009 court order of land settlement in Bhabua, the headquarters of Kaimur district.
The HC had ordered the DM for settlement of land of Suresh Kumar Singh, a policeman, but it did not happen.
The DM was kept in the court's custody and released only after the court closed for the day.
