Anjali said due to her busy schedule, she lived in Chennai with her aunt Bharathi Devi and entrusted the financial matters to her.
Later the actress had alleged that her aunt had misappropriated her funds to the tune of about Rs 57 lakh at the instigation Kalainjiyam.
Kalanjiyam had filed a defamation suit against Anjali last year for charging him with "baseless allegations".
