Accused, Sanjay Kumar Godala (45) was nabbed while allegedly accepting a bribe from Ashish Gupta (owner of the mobile shop), Lokayukta Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) V S Parihar told PTI.
A lost mobile phone, when traced, it was known that it is being repaired at Gupta's shop, Parihar said.
Cyber cell officials questioned Gupta who surrendered the mobile phone instrument to them. Despite this, Godala pressed him to pay Rs 5,000 as bribe and threatened him that he will be booked in a theft case if he fails to do so, the DSP said.
