The police said Bishala Chandra Roy, headmaster of Panchra Sagar Chandra Rakshit Smriti Vidyamandir in Jamalpur police station was arrested last night for siphoning off more than Rs 7 lakh.
He was arrested after an FIR was lodged against Roy at Jamalpur police station yesterday from the SSA cell of the district magistrate's office.
