Health official sent to 5 years in jail for taking bribe

A health official posted at Kota Municipal Cooperation was sentenced to five years in jail by anti corruption court here for taking bribe 14 years ago.
ACB Judge Raghvendra Kachwal sentenced JP Gupta and also slapped a fine of Rs 15,000 on him on Friday.
Gupta allegedly accepted a bribe of Rs one lakh for issuing No Objection Certificate (NOC) for an organic manure (fertiliser) project.
