Heavy security in UP for Friday's "alvida ki namaz"

In view of last Friday of the holy Ramzan month, when 'Alvida-ki-namaz' is offered before the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr, tight security arrangements have been made in Uttar Pradesh.
Heavy police and paramilitary forces have been deployed across the state and in areas where people assemble to offer namaz.
"On July 25, alvida ki namaz would be held across the state for which 46 companies of Provincial Armed Constabulary, 10 companies of Rapid Action Force and 10 companies of Central Armed Police Forces have been deployed as per requirement of districts," IG law and order Amrendra Sengar told reporters.
He said that Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) and trainee Sub Inspectors would also be deployed for maintaining law and order situation.
