The stock fell by 1.37 per cent to end at Rs 2,987.35 on BSE. During the day, it slipped 2 per cent to Rs 2,966.
At the National Stock Exchange, shares of the company dropped by 1.45 per cent to close at Rs 2,986.55.
Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL) yesterday reported 33.91 per cent dip in its total sales in December 2016 at 3,30,202 units as against 4,99,665 units in the same month of previous year.
HMCL said it recorded its highest-ever sales of 67,62,980 units in a calendar year in 2016.
