High-level committee to examine security of Allahabad HC

In a bid to strengthen the security of the Allahabad High Court and its Lucknow bench, a high-level committee would study the practical aspects and submit its report by June 3.
A decision in this regard was taken during a meeting chaired by Principal Secretary, Home, R M Srivastava today, an official spokesman said here.
The committee would be headed by additional director general of police (security).
Directive was also issued to use modern equipments and deploy security personnel shift-wise, the spokesman added.
