Dharmani, two times Congress MLA from Ghumarwin constituency in Bilaspur district, was not available for comment but sources in the Ministry said that Dharmani has sent his resignation to Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.
They said that Dharmani had been upset over not getting a portfolio ever since he was inducted as CPS alongwith Neeraj Bharti and Vinay Kumar immediately after Singh took oath as the Chief Minister on December 25, 2012.
He was elected to the Assembly for the first time in 2007 and retained the seat in 2012.
