Sources said Rahul also asked the party leaders to review the manifesto and ensure that the promises made to people ahead of assembly elections are fulfilled.
He also asked the partymen to reach out to people at the grassroots and help redress their grievances.
Singh, who was accompanied by HP Congress unit chief Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, explained to their leader achievements of the state government and promises fulfilled so far.
Ambika Soni, Congress incharge of Himachal Pradesh affairs, was also present at the meeting.
Congress had won the assembly polls in 2012. Fresh polls are due in 2017.
