"No new proposal shall be entertained with regard to transfer and postings of employees of the state government, particularly in the education department during the mid academic session," a spokesperson said here.
"The general transfers have been banned by the government. The transfers will be considered only to fill up vacancies or in case of grave administrative exigencies with prior approval of the Chief Minister," the spokesperson said.
The state government imposes restriction on the transfer and postings of its employees every year.
